॥ शब्दो नित्य: आकाशगुणत्वात् ॥
Words are eternal because they possess the characteristics of space (आकाशगुणत्वात्). They neither die nor vanish—they neither end nor perverse (विकृत). Words are eternal and perpetual (शाश्वत्, अजर, अमर). That is how we hear them “as is” even via the long-distance calls. Recorded words could be heard even after years. We hear them through the aether, a medium to travel that fills all space and supports the propagation of electromagnetic waves.
That’s why even the law scholars (judges) consider the words as evidence for their verdicts. But which words? Not the ones which are uttered in exclamation or excitement, neither formatted nor regularly spoken words. आप्तवाक्यं शब्द: meaning the objection statements. The objection statements have a long list. In short, the words which are eligible, required, and congruent. These statements are bifurcated in two categories viz. Universal and Vedic.
॥ वैदिकमीश्वरोक्तत्वात् सर्वमेव प्रमाणम् ॥
Vedic statements are accepted, believing that they are the voice of the Supreme. And these Vedic statements are called the Mantra. As a result, Mantra are authentic in themselves. Mantra are eternal and perpetual (शाश्वत्, अजर, अमर). And there’s no need to present this certainty differently.
Pronunciation of the mantra is essential. Like if you mispronounce someone’s name repeatedly, the person may feel offensive and create like vibes for the caller. When the mantra enchanted is not recited with correct pronunciation, length, and volume of a typical word, they produce adverse energy and effect of it. Eventually, when a person doesn’t see the desired results of that mantra, he loses his faith from his worship. On the positive side of the above example, if the name of a person or a deity (recitation mantra) is done correctly, it will produce very positive and favorable energy.
I have observed people reciting mantra anywhere and anytime. Some disciples start chanting with a rosery even during their travel or even in the hotel rooms. Such a wrong perception or following most often leads them to isolation and miserable financial, relationship, or material conditions. Eventually, it brings unhappy fortune for them and their families. However, some belief or stubbornness helps them to accept their misconduct of the mantra.
Let us take an example. The sunshine is spread everywhere. However, the Sun is worshipped facing the east during the morning hours. And we refrain worshipping the Sun (offering water in specific) after it passes through the east towards the south. It is believed that the setting Sun cannot be worshipped as it brings misfortune. The theme here focuses on the direction, timing, and presence of the deity in particular. Just like the Sun, every deity has his/her direction, place, and timing of worship. One cannot start reciting or chanting mantra anywhere, anytime without considering the aura. Discipline is the only way to fetch positive and speedy effects of any mantra.
One should always consult an expert (astrologer) who is good at analyzing the true deity like Isht Dev (who fulfills all material desire), Kundali Dev (provides fame and name), Guru Dev (gives direction), Family Dev (spiritual father/mother of the person), etc. from his/her chart. And seek guidance on the right mantra and creating aura to recite or meditate.
